Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized adaptive physical education programs tailored to students with diverse abilities. Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to support students' physical development and inclusion in physical activities. Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting programs to meet evolving needs. Foster a safe, encouraging, and engaging environment that promotes physical health and social interaction. Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant educational and safety standards. Desired Qualifications: Valid teaching credential with certification in Adaptive Physical Education. Experience delivering APE instruction to K-12 students in inclusive or specialized settings. Strong knowledge of physical education assessment tools and adaptive techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to promoting student success and physical well-being.
