Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students Facilitate group sessions and social skills development programs Connect families with community resources and support services Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and confidentiality requirements Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Social Worker Experience working with K-12 students in an educational or clinical setting Strong understanding of child development, mental health, and family dynamics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of community resources and referral processes Location: Rochester, Minnesota (serving K-12 students) This contract position is ideal for a dedicated social work professional seeking to make a positive impact in a school environment over the course of a full semester.
