A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is needed for a full-time, onsite school health role supporting K-12 students from September through June 2025. The position is based in Newark, NJ, and involves working 40 hours per week during the contract school year. Placement will be at a school site within the district, with some flexibility to accommodate candidate preferences.

The LPN/LVN will collaborate closely with the supervising Registered Nurse and provide individualized 1:1 care for students as needed. Additional duties involve maintaining accurate and up-to-date cumulative health records for all enrolled students, administering first aid following established protocols, and advising teachers on health-related matters that impact student well-being. Qualifications and desired experience: Current and valid LPN/LVN license Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred Ability to perform physical assessments and immunizations Knowledge of established first aid practices and emergency response Strong communication skills to effectively advise school staff and coordinate care This opportunity offers a vital role within the school community, supporting student health and safety throughout the academic year.
