A .5 FTE social worker position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 elementary school located in Joliet, IL. This contract role will serve as an integral part of the schools support team, working directly with students, families, and staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities include: Providing individual and group counseling to students from diverse backgrounds Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans tailored to student needs Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and well-being Connecting students and families with community resources and support services Assisting with crisis intervention and prevention programs within the school setting Qualifications and experience sought: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a social worker in Illinois preferred Experience working within a school setting, ideally with K-12 students Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school staff and families Commitment to working on-site with students to provide hands-on support and interventionnot a remote position This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the school year by supporting students social and emotional development in an in-person capacity.
