A specialized Education role is available in Sacramento, CA, aimed at supporting students with orthopedic impairments in an elementary school setting. This position is designed for professionals with Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) certification or Orthopedic Impairment (OI) certification who can provide focused support to a small caseload.

Key Qualifications: Certification in Orientation and Mobility (OMS) or Orthopedic Impairment (OI). Experience working with elementary-aged students, PreK through 5th grade. Ability to commit to a very part-time schedule, approximately 2 hours per week. Strong understanding of mobility and orthopedic impairment strategies tailored to young learners. Location: Sacramento, California Elementary School. Responsibilities: Provide individualized services to two students on caseload with orthopedic impairments. Develop and implement mobility and accessibility strategies suited to each students needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective integration and progress. Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed to maximize student success. Benefits and Schedule: Contract position during the school year (CSY). Very part-time commitment allowing flexibility.
