Located in North Highlands, CA, this K-12 school is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join on a contract basis for the upcoming school year (NSY). This role offers an opportunity to provide critical speech and language support to school-aged students while working within a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Delivering targeted therapy sessions to address specific speech and language goals Monitoring and thoroughly documenting student progress and outcomes Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support Engaging families by providing education and involving them in the therapy process Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Preferred certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the respective state This contract position is an excellent opportunity for an SLP focused on school-based practice. The role provides ongoing support from an experienced advisory team staffed by state-licensed SLPs, fostering professional growth within the educational setting.
