A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Tampa, FL within a K-12 educational setting for a contract lasting the current school year (CSY). This role plays a vital part in supporting the communication development of students through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to specific communication goals Providing targeted therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and related communication skills Monitoring, documenting, and analyzing student progress to ensure effective outcomes Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teamsincluding educators, counselors, and healthcare providersto coordinate student care Engaging families by educating and involving them actively in the therapy process Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Florida Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team This position requires an active state-approved license and the ability to work effectively in school environments serving K-12 students.
