Key Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans tailored for K-12 students, with an emphasis on elementary-aged children Conduct therapy sessions focusing on speech sound production, language comprehension, and social communication skills Monitor student progress, document therapy activities, and maintain detailed records in compliance with educational standards Collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and other staff to support individualized education programs (IEPs) Engage with students in a manner that fosters a positive and supportive learning environment Desired Qualifications and Experience: Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working in school settings, preferably within K-12 environments Strong understanding of speech and language development in children Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and demonstrate effective communication skills with students and educators Commitment to professional conduct and confidentiality standards in educational settings Location: Spring, TX This role provides a rewarding chance to impact the communication development of diverse students during the school year.
