The primary responsibility is to conduct thorough assessments encompassing sensory motor and perceptual functioning, academic achievement, intelligence, social and emotional adjustment, and crisis impacts affecting academic and behavioral outcomes. Utilizing these evaluations, the School Psychologist collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized service plans tailored to address the unique needs of referred students and their families. Key responsibilities include: Administering and interpreting psychological tests and assessments relevant to academic and emotional functioning Gathering and synthesizing student data to inform educational and behavioral interventions Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to design appropriate support plans Providing consultation and guidance to families and school personnel regarding student progress and needs Participating in meetings addressing student development and crisis response strategies Desired qualifications and experience: Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working in K-12 educational environments Strong skills in psychological assessment and report writing Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success and well-being within a supportive educational environment.
