Job Description
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities during the estimation process.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of costs and pricing information.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve competitive pricing.
  • Provide ongoing support during project execution to address cost-related queries.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all cost estimation deliverables.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have:
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to assess and calculate project costs effectively.
  • Experience in the construction industry, particularly within business services.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
