NorthRiver Yacht Club, a Troon Privé facility, is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Marketing Manager. This beautiful private club is looking for a dynamic person who can be creative and professional in all member communications and in marketing efforts towards new member prospects and potential catering and event clients.

Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all NorthRiver Yacht Club social media accounts, internal marketing to club members and external marketing for our events department.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes marketing tactics and strategy that enhances the awareness of the NorthRiver brand and communicates the story and ongoing execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan.
  • Drives the content development and facilitates production of all membership related materials, including but not limited to prospecting, onboarding and retention efforts.
  • Manages NorthRiver social media platforms and ensures delivery of consistent, high quality and engaging content, reflective of the club brand.
  • Develops an internal club communication plan which outlines all club communications from emails to newsletters.
  • Designs and executes a monthly Club newsletter, which features content from each department.
  • Engaged with the NorthRiver website platform in the following capacities:
    • Updates calendars, events, menus, hours of operation, event albums etc.
    • Coordinates, edits and sends email communications on behalf of club departments.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office (Publisher, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Creative with an eye for design.
  • Strong organizational skills: time management, attention to detail, ability to self-start.
  • Able to multi-task and produce high-quality results with strict deadlines.
  • Team player: ability to work cooperatively with all departments and committees.
  • Proficient on social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with a Club system software and knowledge of Canva and/or other design software.
  • Four-year degree with a marketing or communications concentration preferred.
