Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to moderate severe or extensive needs students Deliver specialized instruction and support to ensure academic, social, and emotional growth Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including parents, therapists, and general education staff Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and district special education requirements Qualifications: Valid credential in Moderate Severe or Extensive Needs Education Experience working with young children in early elementary grades (K-2) Expertise in developing IEPs for students with significant disabilities Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with families and school teams Patience, creativity, and dedication to fostering inclusive classroom environments Details: Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire Dates: August 11, 2025, through June 5, 2026 (Next School Year) Weekly Hours: 40 Caseload: 8-10 students Location: Salinas, CA (Zip Code: 95046) This position offers a chance to engage deeply with students requiring specialized support during crucial developmental years.
