A full-semester opportunity is available for a licensed California Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to support students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement adaptive physical education curricula that meet individual student needs. Assess student abilities and develop personalized fitness plans. Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to integrate physical education goals. Monitor student progress and adjust programming accordingly. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students during physical activities. Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents and school administration about student development. Qualifications: Valid California teaching credential with certification in Adaptive Physical Education. Experience working with students across PK-12 grades. Knowledge of physical education techniques tailored for students with disabilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a full-time schedule with dedication and professionalism. Work Schedule and Location: Location: Lamont, CA Full-time, 40 hours per week Schedule: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break Contract duration: Full academic year (August 25, 2025 June 11, 2026) This position provides an excellent occasion to contribute to the physical development and well-being of students requiring adaptive education strategies.
