A full-time Sign Language Interpreter is needed to support a 1st grade student in an elementary school setting. This contract position spans the full school year and requires 6-7 hours of work daily, Monday through Friday, located in Centreville, AL. Key Responsibilities: Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation to facilitate communication for a 1st grade student in all academic and social settings. Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and school staff to ensure the students needs are met. Assist with classroom activities by interpreting lessons, instructions, and interactions in real time. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and school policies. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, ideally with young children or in educational settings.
