We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position supporting K3 elementary and middle school students in a developmental learning center focused on life skills. Schedule: MondayFriday, approximately 7:30 AM 3:30 PM Duration: Current school year through mid-June Caseload: 412 students, with middle school teachers supporting 4 students and additional virtual paperwork completed on campus Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students needs Develop, implement, and maintain compliance with IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations Independently complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and on time Collaborate with staff and families to encourage student growth, independence, and inclusion Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher certification Strong professional references demonstrating competence and reliability Proven ability to independently manage paperwork and compliance requirements Experience working within developmental learning or life skills programs is preferred This contract opportunity offers a chance to impact students lives meaningfully while working within a dedicated special education team in a K12 school setting.
