Design and deliver engaging, personalized instruction that supports the

academic, behavioral, and life skills

goals of each student

Foster a nurturing and predictable classroom environment where students feel

safe, respected, and empowered

Build strong relationships with students, families, and staffrooted in communication, trust, and shared purpose

Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent and holistic care

Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to help every student reach their full potential

Write and manage IEPs, collect data, and complete documentation in a timely, compliant, and student-centered way

Were Looking For Someone Who:

Holds a

valid Oregon Special Education Teacher certification

Is organized, reliable, and able to independently manage caseloads and paperwork

Has experience (or a strong interest) in

life skills, adaptive learning, or self-contained classrooms

Communicates clearly and compassionately with students, families, and colleagues

Is patient, flexible, and deeply committed to equity and inclusive education

Competitive hourly pay
