Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days, nights, rotating Employment Type: Travel Job Description: Medical Imaging Tech III (Travel) Facility: Albany Medical Center Location: Albany, NY 12208 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Schedule: Monday – Friday, with one night and one weekend call commitment per month Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced cardiovascular imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in on-call rotations (one weeknight and one weekend per month). Adhere to the facility’s dress code and operational procedures. Requirements: Current New York State registration or limited permit to practice in NY. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced certification as an ARRT-CV or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Ability to float to other units if necessary.
