Our client, a prestigious Dallas-based litigation law firm, is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join their team on a direct hire basis. Legal Secretary Role:
Support 2-3 litigation attorneys with various legal and administrative responsibilities Manage court filings, calendar scheduling, travel arrangements, and time entry Prepare and electronically file legal documents in both state and federal courts Assist in drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials Maintain attorney calendars, including court dates and deadlines Organize and maintain client files, including electronic filing systems Coordinate attorney travel plans and handle any last-minute changes Process attorney time entries and collaborate with billing for client invoicing Provide general administrative support to assigned attorneys Legal Secretary Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Legal Secretary in a litigation firm Proficiency in federal and Texas state court e-filing systems such as PACER and eFileTexas Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and multitasking abilities Outstanding verbal, written, and proofreading skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Experience with iManage and Elite Time software is highly desirable Features and Benefits:
