We are hiring a Systems Administrator I - Desktop Support with active TS/SCI clearance to support our government customer in Springfield, VA. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. The Systems Administrator I - Desktop Support is a Tier 1/2 team member responsible for IT end-user computing requests, patching, and deployment for enterprise systems supporting our customers mission. Responsibilities
Plan, receive, prioritize, document, and actively manage end-user computing (EUC). Use vendor and internal management tools to ensure consistent desktop configuration and user experience. Support complex development requirements independently and handle escalated tickets from the IT Enterprise Service Desk. Support a wide range of systems, applications, and services, including desktop OSs, high-performance workstations, thin clients, conferencing systems, printers, scanners, and endpoints on cross-domain solutions. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in an enterprise IT desktop administrator role. Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Windows desktop platforms or ThinLinux. Experience providing support for various EUC platforms and applications, including physical and virtual clients like Citrix, Virtual Apps and Desktops, appV, and Windows Terminal Services. Experience working directly with customers to gather IT requirements. Experience with application installation, configuration, lifecycle management, and inventory. Experience patching operating systems and applications. Experience with remote monitoring and management tools across a dispersed IT enterprise. Meet the Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) System Administrator (451) Intermediate Level for SECNAV M-5239.2 compliance. Security Clearance:
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a CI Polygraph. Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university. Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP). Desired Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or MCSA for Windows 10/7, familiarity with secure environments, PowerShell, basic networking troubleshooting, and remediation of IA and INFOSEC findings. Skills:
