Position: Bilingual Call Center Representative
Location: Columbia, Maryland - Back-office support for Automated Traffic Safety Enforcement
Experience Level: Entry Level
Overview:
Join a fast-paced team providing essential customer service and clerical support for traffic safety enforcement. As a Bilingual Call Center Representative, you’ll handle inbound calls, verify violation details, assist with payments, and manage data entry, all while delivering empathetic and professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to calls from citizens regarding parking violations and provide clear, accurate information.
- Educate the public on services and resolve inquiries in a single interaction.
- Accurately process documents, schedule appointments, and manage mailings.
- Navigate multiple computer systems to deliver efficient support.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client programs and services.
- Communicate effectively and document interactions clearly.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, including 1 year in a high-volume call center.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Typing speed of 30–35 WPM.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic troubleshooting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
