Responsible for delivering age and specialty-appropriate medical care through assessment, evaluation, diagnosing, recognition and prevention of adverse events, treatment, and follow-up. Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development. Collaborates with colleagues and other professionals to ensure safe, effective, efficient, and patient-centered care, aiming for positive patient outcomes. Monitors quality of care through customer service and performance improvement initiatives. Provides leadership within the LPG practice location and across Lee Health. Maintains excellent communication with patients, families, caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, medical staff, and employees. Prioritizes quality and safety in patient care delivery. Supports the integrated continuum of care within LH/LPG. Requirements
Educational Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Medical School and Residency; BC/BE Experience
Required: Experience providing healthcare in international/resource-poor settings, demonstrated teaching, and leadership experience with strong leadership potential. State of Florida Licensure Requirements
Medical Doctor Additional Licensure Requirements
Currently licensed or eligible in the State of Florida as a Physician Certifications/Registration Requirements
