Vendor Management Role
The selected candidate can either work out of our Melbourne, FL location, or our Fort Lauderdale, FL location Position Summary
This role is focused on vendor management in the aftermarket, specifically managing vendors responsible for repairing aircraft parts under the Embraer special programs, like the pool program (pay-by-the-hour programs, customers enroll to have access to certain parts availability). The goal is to ensure the vendors are working in compliance with Embraer's requirements as far as quality, performance, cost efficiency, and contractual terms. It will involve managing vendors KPIs, leading, participating, and supporting several meetings and action plans to improve vendors' deliveries/performances to enhance Embraer's service level to its customers under special programs. Job Responsibilities
Main Activities Manage vendors' repair performance KPIs (TAT - Turn Around Time, OTD - On Time Delivery Performances, Backlog, Aging, off-the-shelf/fill rates, etc.). Coordinate and lead Repair QRMs (Quarterly Meetings) with the vendors (discussing the KPIs mentioned above, customer backorders, AOG (Aircraft on ground) support, process improvement, critical items/recovery plans, financial issues, and any other item related to repair business). Support and participate in the Program Review meetings with the vendors (including other areas as procurement, quality, engineering, product support, etc.) Support and participate in the Executive Meetings with the vendors. Manage the action items from QRMs, PRMs, and Executive meetings, and ensure the action items are timely accomplished. Visit the vendors to run meetings, follow up about parts shipments, visit the repair shops, etc. Lead discussions related to any necessary recovery plan to improve the vendor's performance. Work alongside the repair management operation team to ensure all efforts are moving in the same/right direction. Be an agent of process improvement changes at the vendors, enhancing performance. Bring opportunities to the company related to efficient, technical, and economic alternatives to improve our repair services for our customers. Escalate issues that require leadership and executive attention and involvement. Elaborate letters to the vendors related to repair activities & performances. Manage the vendors to comply with contract requirements and conditions. Host vendors when visiting Embraer. Prepares spreadsheets, graphics, reports, controls, and presentations to ensure accomplishment of special programs' contractual terms. Supervises special programs back order and participates in the DOS - Daily Operational Support meetings to assure prioritization of the activities to support special program contract obligations. Support Digital transformation. Among other activities related to vendor management, the role may evolve from time to time. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

5+ years of vendor management experience (including contract management/administration/negotiation) Good knowledge of logistics and material supply processes and activities. Aeronautical familiarization is preferred. Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Salesforce, AI, and SAP. Familiarization with value-based management fundamentals (Shareholder Satisfaction x Customer Satisfaction x Employee Satisfaction), employment law (sexual harassment, disability, discrimination, labor laws, etc.). Familiarization with basic concepts related to statistics, graphics, and planning. Knowledge of warehouse processes and activities, such as shipping, receiving, and packing. Education
Fluent English Portuguese language Nice to have. BS/BA Degree in Supply Management, Logistics, Business Administration/Management, or related.
