Supervisor Nursing - SICU at Mission Hospital Mission Viejo, Mission Viejo, CA. This is a Full-Time, 3 Nights - 12 hour shift position. The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 20-bed critical care unit specializing in neuro and trauma critical care management. We are a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and care for complex patients such as neuro/TBI/Stroke/spinal cord injuries, complex surgeries, trauma, and medical critical care patients. Responsibilities Under the direction of the nurse manager, director, or executive director, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to ensure high-quality patient care. Plans, organizes, controls and coordinates department activities to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient, cost-effective service. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Nursing Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: one professional certification in related area 2 years recent clinical experience in specialty area. Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.

Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree Nursing Leadership experience.

Pay Range
