This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required. Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. Examine and analyze body fluids and cells; match blood for transfusions. Familiarity with the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) requirements for maintaining blood products. Analyze the chemical content of fluids and test for drug levels in blood. Prepare specimens, count cells, and identify abnormal cells in blood and body fluids. Analyze test results and report findings to physicians. Culture body fluids and tissue samples to detect microorganisms. Test samples for chemical content or reactions; determine concentrations of compounds like glucose and cholesterol. Evaluate test results, develop and modify procedures, and monitor quality assurance programs. Follow universal safety precautions to protect against biohazardous materials. Order and stock supplies; maintain a safe and clean lab environment. Maintain patient records, manage lab equipment, and oversee lab operations as needed. Provide supervision and guidance as a Lead in the lab. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications:

Completion of a formal Medical Technology training program leading to a Bachelor's Degree. Certification by AMT, ASCP, or NCA. Current BLS certification. Minimum of five years' experience as a Medical Technologist. At least one year in a Lead role. Recent clinical experience in direct patient care within the last 6 months. Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Proficiency in computers and MS Office. Flexibility to adapt to operational changes and shift requirements. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English communication. Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
