Summary Under the direction of the Urgent Care Practice Manager and indirectly under the TMH Manager of Medical Imaging, performs a variety of technical radiographic procedures. All functions reflect the needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, adapting care to their physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs. Fosters patient and family-centered care in accordance with Brown University Health's mission, vision, and values. Details Part-time employees work 2 shifts per week. Every other weekend availability is required. Cross-training with front desk and Medical Assistants is necessary to support patient flow. Shifts include 12 hours Monday-Friday and 10 hours Saturday and Sunday. Responsibilities Follow workflow protocols to maximize quality and efficiency. Perform patient identification and radiographic exams, demonstrating understanding of equipment, anatomy, and technical factors. Transfer images to PACS for review and scan documents for archiving. Perform quality control and report equipment issues. Place EKG leads, perform EKG tracings, and ensure proper labeling and record inclusion. Provide coverage as needed, including weekends and holidays, demonstrating flexibility. Qualifications Completion of formal training in an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent. Current license to work in Rhode Island and ARRT certification. American Heart Association BLS certification. One-year radiologic technology experience preferred.
