Senior Technical Product Owner
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior Technical Product Owners in Bloomington, MN. Key responsibilities include: Conducting complex and thorough research of existing technical processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals/intent of the assigned products. Working with Product Manager and SMEs to prioritize feature development based on the business value. Eliciting and creating initial epics/features and elaborating into user stories that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements. Delivering business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, and mockups/demos. Collaborating with cross-functional teams inside a Scrum framework. Conducting work sessions and documenting new features, requirements, and strategies. Performing testing, tracking bugs, enhancements, and ensuring issues are resolved before promoting to production environments. Using data and analysis to convey solution impact and support process driven solutions. Developing business logic and critical metrics for incorporation into decision support models and tools. Constructing problem statements including problem description and improvement measures. Drilling down beyond the problem surface to understand root cause, logically structure recommendations, and support data to formulate a solid, logical, and understandable business case. Contributing to technical project planning and effort estimation within scope and support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches. Interface with business unit leaders to develop and maintain internal customer relationships. Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days a week. Less than 10% domestic travel required. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in software development. Must have experience in: Working with business stakeholders and collaborating across airline crew domain verticals, Inflight Services, Flight Operations, and OCC. Airline Crew applications including Pilot Payroll, Flight Attendant Payroll, Crew Scheduling, and Crew domain. Airline Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) domain knowledge. Working on AWS Migration/Containerization and Oracle Exadata service requests. DevSecOps tool usage to streamline development and deployment processes. Using Digital.ai Agility tool to drive consistency and efficiency by scaling Agile practices across all levels, Portfolio Planning, Custom Dashboards, with metrics and analytics, Management of application requirements and user stories. Venafi tool to protect applications from Security threats and Veracode Tool to Run SAST, DAST, and SCA scans to mitigate software application vulnerabilities. SCRUM methodology to deliver software.
