Description Job Summary The

Commercial Division Account Representative

at JR McDade is responsible for launching and expanding our presence in the commercial construction market. This role is instrumental in driving new business by identifying, pursuing, and securing commercial projects across multiple sectors, including office, healthcare, hospitality, education, and multi-family developments. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, established relationships in commercial construction, and a strong background in sales and business development. While prior experience in interior finishes (flooring, cabinets, countertops) is not required, the candidate must be highly motivated to learn our trade and represent JR McDade’s commitment to quality and integrity. This is a high-impact role suited for a self-starter who thrives in a growth-focused environment and is ready to serve as the face of JR McDade in the commercial market. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop and execute a go-to-market plan for commercial sector entry. Ability to identify, connect with, and convert key decision-makers at general contractors, developers, and commercial builders. Strong sales acumen and experience managing the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and proposal development to closing and post-sale support. Proficiency in reading blueprints, specs, and project plans is a plus. Professional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple high-value projects concurrently. Comfortable representing the company at trade shows, industry events, networking functions, and job sites. Collaborates closely with estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and excellent client service. Stays informed about market trends, competitors, and upcoming commercial projects. Maintains detailed records of client interactions, project opportunities, and forecasts through CRM or other internal systems. Represents JR McDade with integrity, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset in all dealings. Participates in ongoing team meetings and contributes to company-wide sales strategies. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.

Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
