In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy, the Radiologic Technologist III performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for specific radiographic procedures, angiography or cardiac cath procedures, CT or MRI procedures, and or mammography procedures. Must be able to run the floor in the absence of the Radiology Supervisor to include staff scheduling and assignments, ordering supplies, supervising students and volunteers, decision making, and counseling). Must be working and scheduled in all three areas of radiology. Responsibilities

Qualifications
Two modalities with 15 years or more experience at Tech II level. Or 5 years experience and certified or trained in two other modalities (CT,MRI, US, Mammo, NM, Angio, Cardiac Cath). Must be working and scheduled in all 3 area Demonstrates competence in all routine, fluoroscopic and surgical x-ray procedures. Must be able to run the floor in the absence of the Radiology Supervisor. Demonstrates ability to fill supervisory role in the absence of diagnostic supervisor (includes staff scheduling and assignments, ordering supplies, supervising students and volunteers, decision making, counseling). Must possess a valid California CRT license with fluoroscopy certificate. ARRT second and third modality.
