Overview

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

Drive and operate company vehicles in a safe and compliant manner. Deliver and pick-up packages, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction. Check shipments for conformance to service standards and assist with related customer service tasks as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision. Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages heavier than 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance due to customer contact requirements. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR). Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA guidance. Preferred Qualifications

Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving history. Pay and Details

Pay: $26.70-$35.25 per hour. Additional details: Full Time, 06:30 – 18:30, Monday – Friday. Pay Transparency

The compensation range provided is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary across locations. Actual starting pay is determined by experience, location, and other job-related factors.
