Akkodis is seeking a
QMS Auditor
in
Camden, NJ , who will perform sector-level AS9100/ISO9001 lead internal audits to ensure governance and compliance of the CHQ, IMS, IMS1, and Site Level Command Media suite of documents. Activities include developing audit plans, conducting business system and operational audits, preparing reports of findings, and recommending controls to management. May also facilitate external audit work and reporting. Pay Range:
$38-$42/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. 12+ months contract
(possibility of conversion to full-time) Travel:
Will be required to travel to client sites: Northampton, MA; Fall River, MA; Salt Lake City, UT; Hanover, MD; and Goleta, CA. Essential Functions / Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) and identify gaps to AS9100/AS9110/ISO9001 standards. Access ITAR-controlled items and/or articles as needed. Assess internal audit scope and develop annual audit plans. Perform and control the full audit cycle. Apply working knowledge and experience auditing ISO9001, AS9100, and AS9110 standards. Work proficiently with Microsoft Office applications. Prepare and present clear audit reports reflecting results and process documentation. Manipulate large amounts of data accurately and compile detailed reports. Apply practical knowledge of project management, procurement, planning, design and development, production, and manufacturing. Have experience in procedures, business practices, inspection methods, materials, and equipment related to maintaining airworthy articles. Administer Document Control by managing review, approval, and release of operating documents. Perform Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations using the 8D methodology. Train team members in RCCA methodology and internal audit practices. Act as a lead auditor when needed. Explain and interpret processes and procedures internally and externally. Implement improvements to systems and processes to improve effectiveness. Communicate with internal and external parties (e.g., customers, vendors). Required Qualifications
Experience with compliance related to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Experience in obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating process documentation, reports, data, flowcharts, etc. Proven ability to accurately manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports. Ability to focus, conduct follow-up audits, and verify management interventions. Preferred Additional Skills
ASQ Quality Certifications are a plus. Experience in extracting requirements from Military and Commercial contracts. At least 4 years of experience in Root Cause, Corrective Action determination, and verification. At least 4 years of experience performing audits to AS9100/AS9110 or similar ISO standards.
