This role is essential to keeping Hawaiʻi's floral industry moving, as you'll be responsible for transporting fresh floral freight from the airport to warehouses and shops across Oʻahu. Responsibilities
As a Reefer Truck Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring floral products are delivered fresh, on time, and with care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Driving a refrigerated truck to pick up floral freight directly from the airport
Delivering shipments to warehouses, floral shops, and distribution centers around Oʻahu
Loading and unloading products safely to maintain product quality
Monitoring reefer unit operation and reporting any mechanical issues
Following proper documentation and keeping accurate delivery records
Communicating effectively with dispatch and team members to resolve issues quickly
Representing AlohaHP with professionalism and courtesy at every stop
This is a position for drivers who take pride in their work, stay on schedule, and understand the importance of delivering with aloha. Qualifications
We're looking for dependable drivers who bring the right skills and attitude to the job: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience with box trucks or reefers preferred, but training is available
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks safely
Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
No DUIs or cellphone-related traffic violations
