Our client and top growing global CPG brand is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Brand Manager to help lead marketing efforts in LA.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for brand building and a strong background in the food/beverage CPG industry.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies that align with business goals and brand vision.
MUST HAVE – food/beverage or similar CPG experience
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of brand strategy to enhance brand identity and drive growth. Conduct in-depth market research to assess competitive landscape, target audience, and emerging trends. Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness. Work closely with the sales team to create promotional strategies tailored to specific channels and accounts. Manage the briefing and development of consumer communication plans for both national and customer-specific initiatives. Oversee content creation in partnership with the Sr. Brand Designer and external agencies, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, derive insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. Foster strong relationships with internal teams (sales, customer service) and external partners to ensure cohesive brand experiences. Manage brand marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI. Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development within brand management.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in brand marketing within the CPG sector, particularly in food and beverage. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. Proven track record of developing successful brand strategies that drive consumer engagement and sales growth. Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior within the CPG industry. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire cross-functional teams. A strategic thinker with experience in P&L ownership and budget management. A natural self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments while delivering results under pressure. Proficient in utilizing marketing analytics tools and social media platforms for effective campaign management. A passion for storytelling and building compelling brand narratives that resonate with consumers. Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
