Elevate Financial Operations and Drive Strategic Vendor Partnerships
Are you a detail-oriented financial professional passionate about transforming payment processes and building innovative solutions? Join our dynamic team and play a critical role in managing Amazon's strategic customer payables and receivables, where your analytical skills will directly impact our vendor relationships and financial efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
Investigate and resolve complex vendor payment scenarios, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
Develop comprehensive financial reports and analyses using advanced data management tools
Create standardized operational procedures and training documentation
Collaborate across multiple teams to improve financial processes and controls
Communicate critical findings and recommendations to leadership

You'll dive deep into financial data, unravel complex payment challenges, and develop streamlined processes that enhance our vendor interactions. From investigating payment trends to creating operational documentation, you'll be at the heart of our financial ecosystem.
About The Team

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Experience with customer service
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Are enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in handling internal & external audits
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
