For the past century, HPS has grown to deliver electrical power solutions to global markets and provides solutions for complex applications like, mining, rectifier, drives, traction, wind, solar and many other electrical power applications. The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Team Lead, come grow with us!

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Group Lead will direct warehouse team members in their daily assignments, ensuring maximum utilization of warehouse personnel and equipment in order to capitalize on output.

Key Responsibilities Include

Lead of Daily warehouse activities including:

• Direct and schedule team members in their assigned tasks and provide training as required.
• Receive product, assign stock location and record materials kept in inventory
• Ensures the proper packaging, loading and accuracy of shipments
• Schedule carriers in accordance with established policies
• Assist in monitoring warehouse activities for quality, quantity, and ship on time performances (including collection/analysis)
  
  

Daily Processing Of Shipments

• Daily system generation, consolidation and verification of picks, packing slips, bill of lading and custom documents
• Verify orders for product, quantities, weights, proper addresses and shipping terms
• Prepare appropriate shipping documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, address labels, Customer documentation etc)
• System ship orders and setup invoice transaction
• Coordinate shipments with HPS sales and external Customers
• Prepare and verify all customs documentation required for exportation of product/material
• Awareness of applicable customs rules and regulations
  
  

Safety And Equipment

• Inspect and maintain logs on shipping equipment on a daily basis in order to ensure all equipment is operating in proper working order
• Ensure warehouse safety rules are followed by all personnel
• Coordinate all Forklift training and ensure all are certified
• Continue the certification as the Train the Trainer
  
  

Purchasing of supplies and components as required

Do you qualify? We are seeking:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of warehouse experience, manufacturing sector
• Forklift experience
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with customer portals/systems. D365 an asset
