Summary

Supervisory position responsible for all Raw & Pack materials Warehouse operation Safety, Material Receiving, Material Issuing to production, GWP (Good Warehouse Practice), Palletizing, inventory accuracy and inventory freshness by providing acceptable standard of services, including the stock movement with the 3PL, Plan, organize, supervise, train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned Warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

  • Has delegation to enforce discipline among his personnel but reports to his manager for disciplinary action.
  • Prepare the weekly Warehouse and Labor productivity report.
  • Implements and ensures safety stacking of materials.
  • Ensure safe materials handling equipment operation, especially regarding speed and load.
  • Ensure full implementation of the procedures for Receiving of Raw & Packing Materials, Issuance to Production and Returns to Warehouse from Production.
  • Organize the Warehouse in a way that physical count is possible at any time.
  • Conduct cycle counting according to the inventory calendar monthly to cover 100% of the Warehouse.
  • Collaborate with buyers’ team regarding material reception.
  • Manage sampling of any arrival for releasing.
  • Organize the Warehouse to facilitate good housekeeping, pest control and adhere to FEFO (first expiry - first out) policy unless otherwise advised.
  • Ensure material tags reflect current receipt status for each consignment.
  • Isolate blocked material in a separate area and label accordingly.
  • Prepare expiry reports and highlight critical materials.
  • Sign documents concerning local authorities in accordance with Factory management.
  • Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
  • Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures.
  • Maintain flexibility to meet ad-hoc requirements or to address unexpected Supply Chain issues; adapt to changes in logistics and/or market environment.
  • Ensure maintenance of building, warehouse equipment and security.
  • Identify potential issues in warehouse operations and evaluate risks and propose solutions.
  • Provide advance information daily/weekly to align with team and cross-function on warehouse operation within the detailed plan period.
  • Ensure outstanding delivery of 3PL services by maintaining effective communications.
  • Adhere to FRONERI procedures and standards.
  • Maintain 5S in the workplace.
  • Update planning parameters in the system for materials when needed.
  • Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees, and assign workloads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Operational experience in warehouse management at business level
  • Relevant experience in logistics, technical, or transportation is beneficial
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate a computer terminal and warehouse-related software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Effective communication abilities (speech, vision, hearing)
  • Good knowledge of planning cycles, commercial understanding, optimization techniques and costing
  • Results oriented

Work Environment

Regularly works with others in a wet and/or humid environment, areas of high noise, and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment. The work is fast-paced. Occasional exposure to nuts and other allergens.

Compensation
