Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Recruitment Process: Spearhead the entire recruitment cycle to attract and secure high-caliber talent, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and culture.
- Oversee Pre-Employment and Onboarding: Manage all pre-employment communications and onboarding activities, providing comprehensive support to new employees to facilitate a smooth transition into the organization.
- Maintain Payroll Records: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll records by accurately collecting and entering employee data and submissions.
- Provide Benefits Guidance: Offer expert guidance to employees regarding their benefits, including eligibility, coverage options, and other related topics.
- Manage Leave and Claims Administration: Oversee the administration of leave of absence, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and disability claims, ensuring compliance and support for affected employees.
- Ensure Legal Compliance: Continuously monitor and ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
- Support Employee Investigations: Assist in conducting thorough investigations into employee-related issues, such as harassment, discrimination, and policy violations, maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
- Implement HR Policies and Programs: Collaborate with the HR department globally and locally to implement and support HR policies, programs, and initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
- Other Projects and Duties: Participate in additional projects or duties as required, contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the HR function.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Results-driven with the capacity to perform under pressure.
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Workday is preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
