About the Role
As an Accounting Supervisor (CAS), you'll guide firms and leaders through their financial journey providing high-value advisory services beyond compliance: thinking strategically, improving performance, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology.
Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Lead CAS engagements: Oversee consulting projects across areas such as financial reporting, workflow efficiency, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, or financial systems implementation.
- Manage client relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, shaping service offerings, and ensuring delivery excellence.
- Coach and develop staff: Mentor junior CAS team members, review deliverables, and supervise multitask workloads.
- Drive business development: Contribute to proposals, refine service packages, and support client growth initiatives.
- Maintain technical excellence: Stay updated on evolving accounting standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies affecting advisory services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters preferred).
- CPA designation required. CAS specialization (e.g., CGMA certification, experience with advisory frameworks) a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years in public accounting, with significant exposure to CAS or similar roles.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, process improvement, or systems advisory.
- Strong communication and client-facing soft skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, data analytics platforms, and accounting/advisory software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Sage Intacct, Power BI).
