Overview
Adjunct Faculty - Cybersecurity. This is a part-time faculty appointment within the Cybersecurity Program. The position requires flexibility of scheduling which will involve mostly online teaching.
Salary Range: $800 per credit hour
Contract Term Length: Not Applicable

Job Duties
- Teach online cybersecurity fundamentals and data security or secure programming or web security or operating system security or cryptography courses.
- Set up assigned courses on learning management system used by the college following college standards.
- Prepare for teaching assigned courses by creating syllabi, selecting textbook or teaching material, and posting the material on learning management systems.
- Grade learner’s submissions in a timely manner and provide feedback to learners.
- Submit course-related reports as requested by the college.
- Maintain course standards set by the Cybersecurity Program.
- Maintain communication with Coordinator of the Cybersecurity Program.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Security/Cybersecurity field OR Bachelor’s degree in any field and 9 graduate credit hours in Computer Security/Cybersecurity field OR Bachelor’s degree in any field and 12 undergraduate credit hours in Computer Security/Cybersecurity field OR Associate degree in Computer Security/Cybersecurity field and relevant work experience in related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with Computer Security/Cybersecurity concentration and good grades AND at least 2 years related experience.
• Certification in Computer Security/Cybersecurity
