This is an immediate opening for dynamic, highly motivated attorneys to join the team that provides strategic legal support and guidance for the Indianapolis, IN office. The firm handles family law matters such as divorce, legal separation, paternity actions, estate planning, and related issues, with a focus on achieving the best possible results for clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and for necessary correspondence.
- Draft pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders.
- Correspond with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases.
- Interview witnesses for court cases and prepare witnesses to testify.
- Ensure the accuracy of all documents prepared.
- Appear in court on all assigned cases and handle all aspects of the cases.
- Perform administrative duties as necessary, including filing, mailing, organizing files and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research for particular issues.
Qualifications
- J.D.
- Indiana license required.
- Family law experience is preferred but not required.
- Senior Associate positions are available for attorneys with five years or more of litigation experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive starting salary (BOE: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00+).
