A Manufacturing Engineer position, in Ligonier, is available through Storm Search. This is a direct hire job opportunity with competitive compensation, great benefits and room for growth!

The Manufacturing Engineer oversees the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing processes and equipment. They lead new platform launch initiatives, including specifying new equipment, developing tooling, evaluating prototype parts, and conducting feasibility assessments. Additionally, they coordinate maintenance and repair activities with the Maintenance Department and provide supervision to maintenance personnel within their designated area.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of all plant personnel at all times.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Design and procure new equipment and tooling as needed.
• Manage timely product launches while maintaining quoted profit margins.
• Program and oversee tooling for CNC robotic tube benders.
• Install and program vision inspection systems.
• Implement effective mistake-proofing devices across all equipment.
• Monitor and improve product quality to exceed established standards.
• Oversee maintenance for individual projects to ensure timely installations.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of repair parts.
• Develop innovative processes to uphold TI Fluid Systems’ leadership in tube fabrication.
• Prepare Capital Expenditure (CapEx) requests for new capital projects.
• Ensure all equipment meets process capability requirements.
• Create and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) documentation.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Three years experience in automotive manufacturing environment a plus.
• PLC Programming.
• Experience in tubular fabrication a plus.
