Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

About the team: The E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world's most advanced aerospace products.

Role overview: As a Manufacturing Technician, you will build advanced aerospace products, collaborate with manufacturing engineers to improve processes, and bring your ideas to life through prototyping and production. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is based in Arlington, TX. Willingness to work extended hours and weekends is required, with occasional travel possible.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble aerospace components
  2. Assist engineers with documenting processes
  3. Provide feedback on process design
  4. Train colleagues in assembly processes
  5. Support production and manufacturing activities
  6. Support setup of research labs, including moving equipment

Qualifications:

  1. 5 years of experience in textiles, automotive, or aerospace industries
  2. Proficiency operating automated work cells
  3. Experience with torque tools
  4. Textile assembly experience
  5. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and curiosity
  6. Success in fast-paced environments
  7. Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement principles

Additional preferred skills:

  • Machine shop experience (lathe, CNC, milling)
  • Robotics and automation skills
  • Applying Lean Six Sigma concepts
  • Forklift and pallet jack operation
  • Operating Gantries

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Arlington, TX. We are focused on LEO satellite component development, design, and in-orbit activities. Candidates with relevant experience will be highly valued. E-Space cannot sponsor work visas for this role.
