We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, is highly organized, and thrives in a collaborative environment. The Accounting Administrator will handle day-to-day accounts payable and receivable processing while also monitoring incoming invoices and outgoing payments. The ideal candidate for this role will bring foundational accounting knowledge/experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team-based setting.

Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP):
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Confirm accuracy of invoices against customer orders.
- Update and correct invoices as needed.
- Send invoices to customers and assist with collections in coordination with the Business Manager.
General Accounting Administration:
- Process physical invoices and customer payments received through the company mailbox.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors/customers regarding balances, discrepancies, and payments.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of work experience in accounting or a related position.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including sorting/filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas to organize and analyze data.
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting software tools is strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers.
- Competitive salary based on skills and experience. The range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year.

Bertec allows a flexible work-from-home policy. New employees will typically work in-office as they are trained and brought up to speed on their job as well as Bertec products and policies. After that point, work-from-home varies based on job function and responsibilities. In-office work will mainly be performed at Bertec’s offices in Columbus, OH.
