Position:
Logistics Engineer Apprentice

Responsibilities
Participate in product industrialization and project management to develop efficiencies in all areas of supply chain operations and management.
Acquire strong working knowledge to lead the implementation of strategic projects connected to logistics and production planning.
Acquire strong working knowledge of basket and container labeling and tags, skills essential to a material handler in a manufacturing setting.
Be able to drive a forklift and operate manual tools such as pallet jacks.
Acquire strong knowledge of the requirement and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Acquire strong knowledge in 5S and Safety principals specifically in a logistics environment, such as blocking exits, blocking fire extinguishers, blocking e-stops, slip hazards, fall hazards, etc.
Acquire strong knowledge of lean management principals in a logistics environment.
Book the received invoices into ABAS.
Enter registration data into ABAS.
Load packaging instructions and Bills of Materials (BOM) in ABAS.
Create packaging instructions and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Qualifications
Knowledge and skills aligned with responsibilities above, including logistics, production planning, labeling, material handling, safety practices, and ERP familiarity (ABAS).
Ability to participate in classroom and practical training.
