We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to oversee large, cross-functional initiatives and ensure they are delivered with excellence as we continue to scale. While the entire company is fully remote, we’re seeking a candidate in Central Texas for the occasional in-person team meeting. Position Overview
The IT Project Manager will oversee large, multi-quarter, and cross-team initiatives that are critical to the success of RazorMetrics. This role requires strong program management expertise, risk awareness, and the ability to connect strategy with execution. The ideal candidate combines organizational rigor with business acumen—driving alignment, clarity, and outcomes across diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution Define program objectives, success metrics, and interdependencies across multiple projects. Develop and maintain program-level project plans, roadmaps, and timelines. Perform RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) analysis and author risk memos to ensure proactive mitigation and decision-making. Monitor and report on program health, progress, and outcomes, escalating risks and trade-offs when necessary. Cross-Functional Leadership Coordinate execution across engineering, product, operations, and executive management. Drive alignment between teams and stakeholders, resolving conflicts and managing dependencies. Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and cross-functional workshops. Governance & Reporting Establish and enforce program management standards, tools, and best practices. Produce program dashboards, executive updates, and communication artifacts to ensure transparency. Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (HIPAA, SOC 2). Continuous Improvement Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement in program management practices. Mentor others in the company on best practices for planning, risk management, and execution. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 7 years of experience in project/program management, with a proven track record delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives. Strong expertise with program management frameworks, including RAID analysis and risk memo preparation. Proficiency with project planning tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or similar). Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to executives. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines at program scale. Preferred Qualifications
PMI certification (PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP). Experience in healthcare technology or SaaS environments. Familiarity with Agile at scale (SAFe, LeSS, or similar frameworks). Experience building or scaling a program management function in a growing company.
