As an Engineer, Projects 2, here’s the work you’ll do: Lead the full lifecycle of equipment projects, from initial design through delivery, including small-scale modifications and the creation of production cells. Coordinate with process and facilities engineers and project managers to define project scope and achieve successful outcomes. Responsibilities
Execute new capital projects and ensure they are completed on time and on budget, ranging from equipment upgrades and machine/cell designs to large capital improvement projects. Prepare project scope, identify equipment for sourcing, oversee installation and construction of new projects, and prepare capital estimates for project approval. Develop equipment specifications and commissioning plans, ensure safety and suitability for manufacturing, and develop processing parameters and operating instructions. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and champion automation throughout the plant. Support safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives and protect employees and the environment. Troubleshoot equipment and develop permanent solutions for recurring issues. Manage multiple projects in various phases and oversee professional services, contractor, and construction resources. Perform other duties as assigned. KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
Excellent technical and engineering skills with strong written and verbal communication, including leading group meetings and projects. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload, and pursue continuous process improvement. Self-starter with a hands-on approach, driving projects from concept to implementation. Desire to start up new equipment/processes and train others to ensure processes run properly. Willingness to obtain Government Secret Clearance if required. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS). Experience: Minimum 5 years of production and project-related experience with automated processes for discrete manufacturing. Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license. Salary: In compliance with state pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $76,080 to $114,120.
