We are seeking a

SUSTAINABILITY COORDINATOR

with a focus on general reporting, life cycle assessment, and biodiversity. The position serves in a support role to ensure the integrity of Crown’s external reporting and management of customer requests. This individual will report directly to the Director of Global Sustainability and will have frequent interactions with the full global regulatory and sustainability team, and additionally with the Company’s global business unit leadership teams. Specific job responsibilities will include: Assist in the preparation and completion of customer requests, including requests pertaining to subject matters such as recycled content and GHG quantification. Working with Crown’s global sustainability team to input into external, third-party sustainability reporting such as: DJSI, CDP, TCND, Ellen MacArthur Foundation Circulytics Assessment, and other reporting. Provide support for regional divisions as they complete certifications such as ASI, EcoVadis, Sedex. Serve as the team’s biodiversity subject matter expert, including acting as the subject matter expert for the team on forthcoming biodiversity standards/regulations such as TCND. Maintain biodiversity evaluations of plant locations and suppliers. Maintain subject matter expertise on biodiversity and the supply chain. Perform LCA analyses for various internal products. Stay abreast of global recycling updates and the latest LCA methodologies for feedback into customer requests. Monitor, assess, and communicate to senior leaders the implications of new biodiversity and LCA standards and methodologies for Crown’s reporting and customer responses. This role may represent the Company in industry group meetings. Other projects as assigned. Job Requirements

Job Requirements for this position include: Degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field is preferred. Fluent with the full Microsoft Office suite. Professional demeanor and ability to communicate well with both internal and external customers. In addition to the above, the preferred/ideal candidate will demonstrate success in the following areas: Prior experience computing life cycle assessments (LCA). Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Experience and/or familiarity with industry standards such as ASI. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with different levels of management and work well in a team environment with shared responsibilities. Initiative demonstrated by the individual’s approach to streamline processes and the ability to independently manage their workload. Experience with Scope 3 assessments and calculations. 2+ years of relevant experience. Preference for a candidate with on-site manufacturing experience – candidate must be able to physically walk in and around manufacturing facilities. Location
