Overview
We\'re seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) Wing Security Office and the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (PED) Operations Center (DPOC).
Responsibilities
Support servers, workstations, and databases physically located at both DOC sites operating on Windows and Solaris across multiple classification levels and hosting various management applications
Ensure overall integration and upkeep of all enterprise management services to include all servers, workstations, and access accounting functions inherent to network access on the DCGS architecture
Manage enterprise IT applications and services such as LDAP, NTP, DNS, DMCC, Crew Comm, Active Directory, and HBSS
Administer a host of unique systems and services specific to the DCGS weapon system
Provide remote management of computer systems within the DOC-East and West
Integrate new projects into the DOC (management architecture) and the DPA
Perform enterprise User Account management, group, and Home Directory maintenance for Unix and Windows workstations and servers, user/group policies/rights for DOC and DPA enterprise level
Track and maintain system applicable certificates
Install, configure, analyze, develop, test, modify and maintain solutions for operating systems, hardware, and application software to meet enterprise management and DPA systems analysis and/or integrations requirements in accordance with established IT and government standards (e.g., network services, operating system patches, application software patches, and maintenance of software licenses)
Review and provide input to documentation for the DCGS Configuration Control Board (CCB)
Define system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet DPA and government requirements and to satisfy interface problems; develop scripts to improve synchronization of data between DOC East and DOC West
Work directly with and support 480 ISRW Network Engineers and provide technical solutions and expertise for DCGS-wide system engineering efforts
Develop implementation and test plans for migrating CCB-approved software and hardware changes into the operational DOC environment
Support the DOC Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to identify/resolve security-related issues
Required Skills And Experience
Seven (7) years of systems administration experience
Demonstrated knowledge of LDAP, NTP, DNS, and Active Directory
DoD 8570 IAT Level II eligible
Active TS/SCI
Preferred Skills And Experience
Working knowledge of AF DCGS and AF ISR operations is desired
