Overview
You will be responsible for managing and operating the Jenkins platform for client's enterprise projects. Lead the effective and efficient build, development and operations of a Jenkins environment. Define, customise and improve the Jenkins offering using code scans and infrastructure scans. Enhance Jenkins to enable extensions, make it scalable and performant. Assist with the maturation of existing pipelines. Assist in development of shared solutions using cloud-based solutions like AWS serverless and Kubernetes. Create good quality and performing code in Python or Node.js to build the shared solutions. Assist other technology teams within the Infrastructure Services group to transition to cloud and the enterprise pipeline solution. Responsibilities
Manage and operate the Jenkins platform for client enterprise projects. Lead the build, development and operations of a Jenkins environment. Produce good quality and performing code in Python or Node.js to build shared solutions. Assist other technology teams within the Infrastructure Services group in transitioning to cloud and the enterprise pipeline solution. Qualifications
Operational experience with the CI/CD tool Jenkins. 4-6 years of experience managing, maintaining, and scaling a DevOps environment using Jenkins for a large number of enterprise deployments (100+). Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet/Chef). Experience automating infrastructure deployment. Hands-on working knowledge with AWS and its services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Python and Aurora (a plus). Experience with Software-Defined Networks, Software-Defined Data Centers, Virtual Private Clouds and other core network technology. Experience with DevOps and GitOps. Experience with multiple cloud platforms (GCP or Azure) a plus. Proactive, enthusiastic and ambitious. Good team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Seniority level
