Position Overview As a Leasing Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of creating an exceptional experience for both prospective and current residents. This role combines sales, customer service, and property presentation in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You'll help drive leasing success, support resident satisfaction efforts, and be an integral part of a high-performing on-site team. Key Responsibilities Leasing & Marketing • Show and lease apartments to prospective residents, making them feel welcome and at home from the start. • Follow up with all prospects within 24 hours to maintain strong engagement. • Maintain accurate traffic logs and generate leasing reports to support community goals. • Process applications and assist applicants with questions in accordance with company guidelines. • Keep online listings and social media posts fresh and up to date. • Support community events and prepare thoughtful move-in gifts. • Review rental rates and make recommendations for specials or concessions. • Collaborate with locators and outside agencies to drive traffic. Resident & Office Support • Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to all residents and guests. • Assist with preparing renewal leases and supporting resident satisfaction efforts. • Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism and a helpful attitude. • Enter service requests and ensure timely follow-up with residents. • Support the Assistant Property Manager with rent collection and invoice entry when needed. Community Presentation • Inspect model and tour apartments daily to ensure a polished and welcoming appearance. • Monitor curb appeal and recommend improvements to keep the property looking its best. • Participate in posting and monitoring signage and marketing materials. • Offer ideas and help execute resident events and marketing campaigns including flyers, signage, and social media posts. Required Qualifications • 1+ years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with RealPage or similar property management software is a plus. • Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed. • Ability to walk the property and climb stairs during tours.
