Full-time Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing a wide range of office management and support to the company including completing a systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting. (e.g., accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collections).

Must be resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-motivated to help support a variety of business functions

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Report and tracking of company AR and AP
  • Maintain 1099 and Tax-Exempt documentation
  • Manage all employee expense reports across all entities
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable collections and follow-ups
  • Apply customer payments and prepare bank deposits
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail
  • Support monthly invoicing processes to ensure timely completion
  • Assist with data entry for Accounts Payable
  • Enter financial transactions into the accounting system accurately and promptly
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate vendor and customer contact information
  • Respond to routine accounting inquiries from staff and vendors
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned

This is a full-time position with PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and a 401k plan.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting preferred or previous business, analytics, accounting, finance, or related field experience
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical skills with particular attention to detail
  • Ability to find areas out of compliance and make recommended changes
